The Practice will be closed , except for emergencies, on the above date to allow staff training to take place.  We will open again as normal on Monday, 28th January 2019 at 8:00am.

MEDICINE WASTAGE

Wasted medicines cost NHS Fife £2.1 million last year which could be used to fund other health services in Fife.  If you think you are receiving medicine that you do not need/want, please complete a Medicine Waste Form and return it to the Practice.  Our Pharmacists will check and delete any medication you no longer require.

BANK STREET MEDICAL GROUP

Salaried GP /GP Retainer  4–6 SESSIONS

Bank Street Medical Group is looking for a General Practitioner to join our team during 2018. 

The practice is situated within the Adamson Community Hospital in Cupar and has a practice population of approximately 7500 patients.  The practice is paper light and uses both the Emis and Docman clinical systems.  We are a young, dynamic, multi-disciplinary team providing cover for the community hospital which includes palliative care beds and a minor injury unit. We are an approved postgraduate, retainer and undergraduate training practice and benefit from excellent nursing and administrative support. 

The workload involved within the practice is varied and of a manageable level allowing for a positive home-work life balance.  The practice offers good access for our patients, including extended opening hours, and we are pleased to record extremely high levels of patient satisfaction

Fife is an attractive area in which to live and has excellent road, rail and air transport links. Affordable housing, quality education and a wide variety of leisure opportunities are also available throughout the region. Cupar is 20 minutes from St Andrews and is within easy commuting distance of Edinburgh, Perth and Dundee.

We are a friendly, enthusiastic and forward thinking practice and would welcome your interest in joining us.  Some flexibility on weekly sessional commitment (4-6 sessions) is available and the practice is willing to negotiate on start dates in order to attract the right person.
